At the invitation of Mary and Patrick Gifford, artistic directors Daniel Tong and Robin Michael have put together the programme for the first ‘Kinnordy Chamber Music’ weekend. The opening and closing concerts explore the close relationship between Schumann and Brahms. Saturday’s ‘Discovery Day’, led by Sandy Burnett, focuses on music of the Great War. Well-loved chamber musicians from throughout the UK will be resident in the magnificent Kinnordy House for what promises to be a feast of musical performance and insight.
