In the community
Kinnordy Estate is located just outside the market town of Kirriemuir. The Estate has always been keen to engage with the community and welcomes approaches from local organisations that we might be able to work with or help. As a business we always look to hire locally and work with local trades where possible.
Kinnordy Estate works with the Royal Highland Education Trust to open the estate to school visits for two days every May.
We are a key partner in the Kirriemuir footpath network which has opened up access to our woodland at Caddam and Migvie on the edge of Kirriemuir as well as paths around the old quarry and to the RSPB reserve at Kinnordy Loch.
The two woods on the edge of Kirriemuir are maintained with safe public access the primary management goal. It is our hope that they will be enjoyed by as many of the local residents as possible.
In addition, land is let to Kirrriemuir Golf Club and to the RSPB at the Loch of Kinnordy Reserve.
